A Carencro man was arrested Sunday night in connection with a fatal shooting Friday, Lafayette Police report. Shawn Chaisson, 44, faces a count of first-degree murder in the death of Rickey Christian, 65, who died after a shooting in the 200 block of CO Circle, according to a Lafayette Police Department news release.
