Three teens arrested, accused of vandalizing cars, buildings in downtown New Iberia

NEW IBERIA, La. ( KLFY ) — Three 14-year-old boys were arrested in connection with the vandalism of multiple vehicles and buildings in downtown New Iberia earlier this month, according to the New Iberia Police Department.

The boys, who were not identified by police in a news release, were each charged with felony criminal damage to property. They were released to their parents.

Police said the vandalism was reported around 7:30 p.m. on Dec. 14.

The vandalism allegedly occurred in the area of Main Street and Iberia Street in downtown New Iberia.

Police said they were able to get video footage from multiple locations in the area and identify the three suspects.
