As another year comes to a close it is a good time for reflection. Although there were plenty of newsworthy stories in 2024, all worth reflecting on, some were more buzzworthy than others. Lafayette kicked off the year with the inauguration of Lafayette’s first woman mayor-president and is ending it with the anticipated announcement of Buc-ee’s opening in north Lafayette.
