Lake Charles, LA – Two tornadoes, including a powerful EF-3, tore through southern Louisiana on Saturday, leaving significant damage. The National Weather Service confirmed the Sabine Ranch Lodge Tornado as the most severe. It tracked through Jefferson County before crossing into Cameron Parish. With peak winds of 161 mph, the EF-3 tornado carved a 25.95-mile path and reached a maximum width of 880 yards.
