Lafayette police are investigating a deadly crash that occurred in the 900 block of NW Evangeline Thruway on Thursday, January 2, around 8:15 a.m. The victim was identified as Cierra Robertson, 20, of Lafayette. The preliminary investigation shows a Ford F-450 hauling a trailer was traveling southbound in the middle lane of NW Evangeline Thruway when it struck the bicyclist.
