Two Marksville men have been arrested in connection with an early-morning shooting New Year’s Day in Lafayette. Daykwon Guillot, 21, and Damon Guillot, 19, both of Marksville, were arrested in connection with a shootout around 2:34 a.m. Jan. 1 in the 2100 block of Northeast Evangeline Thruway, Lafayette Police reported in a news release.
