Lafayette, LA (February 1, 2025) – The Lafayette Police Department is currently on scene in the 200 block of Arthur Street, in reference to a homicide incident. At 7:21 p.m., The Lafayette Police Department responded to the 200 block of Arthur St., in reference to a shooting in progress. Upon arrival, LPD Officers located a deceased victim in the immediate area. A crime scene has been established and LPD Investigators have been called out to the scene to continue the investigation.
