Louisiana – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development announces continued work on a $78 million project to mill and overlay a 37.22-mile section of I-10, stretching from the Jefferson Davis/Acadia Parish line to I-49 in Lafayette Parish.
Currently, contractor Gilchrist Construction has completed the installation of wearing asphalt on the mainline of I-10.
Crews are now working on guardrail aprons and installing guardrails along the westbound outside lane, from Exit 92 (Mire/Duson) to Exit 80 (Eunice/Crowley)…
