We’re in the midst of a Spring-like pattern across the region and this looks to continue through the week ahead. A front has moved through the area, which means we’ll see nice weather through the next few days.
Firstly, we’ll see a chilly start to the workweek with lows in the mid-40s both Monday and Tuesday morning. Mostly sunny skies will prevail through Wednesday with highs pushing into the 70s each afternoon. A warming trend is anticipated through mid-week.
By Thursday, a quick-hitting system is expected to move through the area, but there still remains a question of how much storm activity we see from this system. Recent models keep most of the activity north of us on Thursday, so for now, we’re keeping rain chances on the lower side. Very warm temperatures are expected Thursday, Friday, and Saturday with highs potentially in the lower 80s.
Our next more significant storm system could move through Saturday as a strong area of low pressure moves across the heartland. Models have been insistent on this solution for days. The majority of the severe weather with this system could end up being north of us, but it’s too early to tell at this point…
