‘Not Good’ – Duck Dynasty Health Update Upsetting to Texas Fans

Texans love the outdoors. From the Hill Country’s ranches filled with exotic game to the coastal wetlands along the Upper Texas Coast if you like to hunt in Texas, then you’re in a pretty good spot. Now many hunters from Houston, Beaumont, Orange, and the surrounding area will tell you that if you like the outdoors then just head a few miles east to Louisiana.

Louisiana has some of the best duck hunting in the entire world. From Gueydan through north Louisiana migratory birds still haven’t figured out that flying over Louisiana can be a “deadly” mistake. I guess that’s why it’s no surprise that the “first family” of duck callers in the nation resides in the neighboring state of Louisiana.

Technically if you were looking for Louisiana’s “first family” you would want to be looking in Baton Rouge at the Governor’s Mansion. Or, if you were looking for Louisiana’s “first family of football” you might want to look up the Mannings of New Orleans. But if you wanted to get to know Louisiana’s first family of fun and frivolity, you’d have to look along I-20 and West Monroe, Louisiana where the Robertson Family resides.

Can you believe that the TV Show Duck Dynasty first graced the airwaves on the A&E Network back in 2012? The show had a very strong and popular run through 2017. And there is currently a reboot called Duck Dynasty: The Revival that is set to premiere in the summer of this year.

The rebooted version of the Duck Dynasty show will focus more on Willie and Korrie Robertson along with their growing family. The new series has been picked up for two seasons with twenty-one-hour episodes planned for each season.

And while things are moving forward at Duck Commander headquarters, as far as the new TV series goes, there are still some grave concerns on a personal level for the Robertson Family. Namely, the health and conditions of the family patriarch Phil Robertson, and the family Matriarch, Miss Kay Robertson.

When asked about his father’s health Jase Robertson has resorted to being blunt and to the point. A reporter recently asked Jase about the health of his father Phil and he simply replied “Not Good”. The younger Robertson went on to say that the family is focused on keeping Phil comfortable as he deals with symptoms of dementia, cracked vertebrae, and blood disease…
