LAFAYETTE, La. ( KLFY ) — A man was arrested in Lafayette after officials allegedly found over 200 grams of fentanyl as well as other narcotic at his residence.
Cory Chaisson, 41, was arrested after Lafayette officials executed a search warrant on his residence Tuesday evening.
Officials said during the search, they seized 253 grams of fentanyl, 43 grams of marijuana, 60 milliliters of promethazine, U.S. currency and a scale.
Chaisson was sent to a Lafayette Parish jail for possession with the intent to distribute marijuana, possession with the intent to distribute fentanyl, transactions involving proceeds from drug offenses, three counts of possession of a controlled dangerous substance in the presence of a juvenile and possession of a legend drug.
