BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) – A Baton Rouge woman is suing an area restaurant after she was refused service and reportedly told her attire violated the upscale venue’s dress code.
A federal lawsuit filed on behalf of Y’Mine McClanahan states she was “utterly humiliated” when she was turned away from having lunch at Stab’s Prime Steakhouse and Seafood in Baton Rouge in July 2024.
The outfit McClanahan was wearing was a floral crop top dress. She previously told the WAFB I-TEAM that she wore the same outfit to the restaurant’s location in Central, Louisiana just two weeks prior to the incident at the location on Jefferson Highway…
