Kaplan woman jailed on charges after Abbeville house shot at accused of drive-by shooting just minutes earlier

ABBEVILLE, La. (NEWS 15) — A Kaplan woman arrested on illegal firing of a weapon charges after a house in Abbeville was shot at is now accused of a drive-by shooting just minutes earlier.

The Vermilion Parish Sheriff’s Office reported Lacey Perro, 32, of Kaplan, is charged with assault by drive-by shooting (6 counts), illegal possession of a stolen firearm, aggravated criminal damage to property, possession with intent to distribute marijuana, possession of methamphetamine, illegal carrying of a firearm with control dangerous substances, proceeds from drug offenses, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Those charges are for the drive-by shooting. She was charged with illegal discharge of a firearm (5 counts) and shooting in a firearm-free zone for the other shooting. She remains jailed in the Vermilion Parish Correctional Center without bond…
