Sunset man sentenced to nearly 13 years in federal prison for pulling gun during convenience store robberies

LAKE CHARLES, La. (NEWS 15) — A Sunset man was sentenced to just under 13 years in federal prison for robbing convenience stores at gunpoint in the Lake Charles area.

Acting US Attorney Alexander Van Hook said Bracelon Charles, 22, was sentenced by US District Judge James Cain Jr. to 12 years, 11 months in prison, and then 5 years of supervised release.
