ST.MARTINVILLE, La. ( KLFY ) — The city of St. Martinville has adopted the Lawrason Act.
The adoption of the Lawrason Act passed the vote with 67% saying yes to this new form of government.
With the act passed, the city of St. Martinville will allow provides a separation of power between the mayor and city council.
