While much of Acadiana was spared from extensive flooding from thunderstorms that rolled through overnight Tuesday, places like New Iberia are experiencing some high waters around the city.
Between 4 and 8 inches of rain have fallen in the Acadiana area, according to weather experts. An additional 2 to 5 inches of rain is possible through Wednesday.
