RAYNE, La. (NEWS 15) — Lt. Allen “Noochie” Credeur, a Rayne police officer killed in the line of duty by friendly fire, was honored with a heartfelt farewell.
Hundreds attended his funeral at the Rayne Civic Center, including law enforcement from across Acadiana and the state.
Lt. Credeur, 48, served the Rayne Police Department for 20 years. Police Chief Carroll Stelly noted his dedication to protecting lives and mentoring children through the D.A.R.E. program.
