Last 2 suspects wanted for shots fired in Jeanerette neighborhood surrender to police

JEANERETTE, La. (NEWS 15) — The remaining two suspects wanted after shots were fired in a Jeanerette neighborhood have turned themselves in, Police Chief Terrance Moore said.

He noted Jaylon Turner, 17, of Jeanerette, and Skyler Rollins, 20, of Youngsville, surrendered to the Jeanerette Police Department and will be transported to the Iberia Parish Jail for booking.

Turner faces charges of illegal use of weapons or dangerous instrumentalities, aggravated assault with firearms, illegal carrying of weapons, aggravated criminal damage to property, and illegal possession of a handgun by a juvenile. He was also arrested on warrants out of Tangipahoa Parish for charges of aggravated assault by drive-by shooting, illegal use of weapons, and aggravated criminal damage to property…
