KADN’s News 15 wins top statewide award for reporting on slain officer

KADN’s News 15 Investigates won a John Korbel Public Service Award from the Louisiana Society of Professional Journalists for its reporting on the death of Lafayette SWAT officer Segus Jolivette during a standoff last year.

Judges for the contest noted the station for its reporting and for communicating the topic well.
