LAFAYETTE, La. (KLFY) – Using funds received from a grant, One Acadiana has partnered with the Master’s Guild Association and the Lafayette Parish Sheriff’s Office to host a 10-hour ‘Intro to Construction’ work ready training for incarcerated individuals at the re-entry center.
“We were able to make sure it happened, which proved the point that we can all work together and get these short-term programs working in the facility,” said Dr. Maggi Bienvenu, One Acadiana’s Director of Business and Education Connections.
