Rather than doing a traditional interview with the Saints, 7 Sports Director, and golf fanatic Matthew Travis, decided to play with the Saints at Lake Charles Country Club, and talk about their run to the State Title.

“We started off a little slow, we had a couple kids kind of fighting off some injuries, Kye (Hanks) in particular had a wrist injury in the fall that he was slow coming back from,” said Saints Head Coach Pat Neck. “But at that point in the season, our senior, Sam Broussard, really kind of carried us for the first three or four tournaments of the year, and then Kye got his mojo back, and it got much better from then on. We played, I believe it was 10 tournaments in the spring won seven of them and got second in the other three, so it was a pretty successful spring. So we’re looking forward to hopefully having a chance to defend next year.”…
