A Houma businesswoman has expanded her franchise outside of the parish and soon will open a 20th location.
The owner of Brooke’s Sno World, Brooke Carrere, will open her 20th location in Youngsville this fall. The location has not been chosen yet. Carrere’s chain began in Houma but has expanded to Raceland, Patterson, Prairieville and soon Youngsville.
There are 19 locations in total, with three owned and operated by Carrere. The fast food franchise is known for its snowballs, which come with 100 different flavors that can be further mixed and matched. Prices range from $2 sno-cones to as much as $15 for a shrimp po’boy, drink and fries…
