A man accused of a triple murder in Lafayette has been deemed competent to stand trial. Chad Credeur, 43, of Duson, is facing charges for the deaths of Brandon Touchet, Elizabeth Reames, and Eric Green. Their bodies were discovered in Reames’ apartment on South College Road in April 2024. Credeur’s trial is scheduled for July 14. He pleaded not guilty to three counts of first-degree murder.
