LAFAYETTE, La. (KLFY) — Sheryl Scott spoke exclusively with News 10 about her late son Christopher Smith as July 4 is the anniversary of his death.
“His anniversary is always like reliving that day. The day that they knocked on the door and gave me the note saying that they came to bring me the bad news that my son was killed,” she said.
It’s been since 2022 she learned her son was gone forever in a hit and run on West Gilman Road. She said she wouldn’t have peace at night until she truly knows what happened to her son. Answers she said were not just for her but her son’s 19-year-old daughter he left behind…
