ST. LANDRY PARISH, la. (KLFY) — Plans for the 4th of July are getting bigger and bigger in Opelousas as the Yambilee Building is getting all set for the fifth annual Red, White and Boom.
The event hosted over 700 vehicles full of families last year, and there are no plans of slowing that momentum down any time soon. Event Director Ci Ci Savoy shared how this event is for the whole family.
“So year number five. We’re going to go out with a bang. We did add something different this year.” Savoy said. “We’re going to be doing fun activities and games with the kids. We’re going to have games inside the ag arena with prizes giving away free hot dogs and drinks. So, bring the children. $5 for parking.”…
