LAFAYETTE, La. (KLFY) – Severe storms rolled through Acadiana Sunday afternoon bringing damaging winds, large hail, and flash flooding. The storms will settle down and overnight will see quiet weather with temperatures in the 70s.
Monday will start out with quiet weather as temperatures rise fast. Highs reach the lower 90s with a feels-like temperature of 100 to 105. Storms develop after the lunch hour and could contain gusty winds, heavy rain, and plenty of lightning. One or two storms may be on the stronger side into the evening hours.
