Mr. Chimetime’s Acadiana food tour continues to gain momentum, and this time he checked off a major Louisiana rite of passage: his first-ever taste of boudin.
The viral food influencer made a stop at Guidroz Food Center, located at 1301 E. Simcoe St. in Lafayette, a neighborhood favorite that might not be on every tourist’s radar but is beloved by locals who know where authentic flavor lies.
Instead of starting with one of the “Four Horsemen” of Acadiana boudin (Best Stop, Billy’s, Don’s, or Kartchner’s), Mr. Chimetime took the IYKYK approach, and it paid off.
