PASADENA, CA (KMDL-FM) – A Lafayette native got some pretty good news late last week — he’s nominated yet again for a Daytime Emmy Award.
James Duhon Recognized for Work on BBQ High
James “Jimmy” Duhon received a nomination for his work as the Director of Photography on the BBQ High docuseries, which aired on Magnolia Network. The show got a nod in the Outstanding Culinary Cultural Series category.
Other nominees in the category include Chasing Flavor with Carla Hall (HBO | Max), Ingrediente: Mexico (Amazon Prime Video), and TrueSouth (ESPN | ABC | SEC Network).

Duhon’s Fourth Career Emmy Nod Highlights Longstanding Success
This is the fourth career Emmy nomination for Duhon. His first nomination was for the Steve Gleason documentary “No White Flags” in 2019.
His only Emmy win came last year (2024) for the Hulu docuseries “Rap Trap: Hip Hop on Trial.”
