SoLAcc students win big at national SkillsUSA competition

South Louisiana Community College (SoLACC) recently competed at the 2025 SkillsUSA National Leadership and Skills Conference, held from June 23 to 27 in Atlanta, Georgia.

Eight students from SoLAcc represented the institution in national culinary and healthcare competitions after qualifying at the state level.

  • Michele Aymond – Gold, Health Occupations Professional Portfolio
  • Thea Comeaux – Gold, Medical Assistant
  • Taylor Boutin – Silver, Medical Math
