Work could begin this month on the 82-room hotel planned for downtown Lafayette.
Organizers will hold a groundbreaking ceremony at 5 p.m. July 30 for the $19 million Hotel Lafayette, a full-service hotel planned for the corner of Taylor and Vermilion streets, officials announced this week.
