ST. MARTINVILLE, La. (KLFY) – Two men have been arrested in Saint Martinville for carnal knowledge of a juvenile, following the discovery of 16-year-old Iris Davis’s body in a field near her home.
Desmond Flugence, 43, and Darren Francis, 33, were taken into custody by the Saint Martinville Police Department. The arrests occurred on Marist Street, where both men lived across from each other.
The community has been in shock since the body of missing teen Iris Davis was found. Police have charged both Flugence and Francis in connection with the case.
Authorities have indicated that further charges may be forthcoming as the investigation continues.
