Lafayette man arrested on multiple drug charges as part of ongoing investigation

LAFAYETTE, La. (NEWS 15) — A Lafayette man was arrested on multiple drug charges after the search of a home.

Javon Robertson, 39, of Lafayette, is charged with possession with the intent to distribute Schedule I (marijuana), possession with the intent to distribute Schedule II (Adderall), possession with the intent to distribute Schedule II (cocaine), possession with the intent to distribute Schedule II (crack cocaine), possession with the intent to distribute Schedule II (hydrocodone), possession with the intent to distribute Schedule IV (Xanax), possession of drug paraphernalia, and transactions involving proceeds from controlled dangerous substance activity. He was released after posting a $290,000 bond.

The Lafayette Parish Sheriff’s Office reported its Narcotics Unit carried out a search warrant at a home on Ember Grove Crossing in Lafayette. Authorities noted this operation was part of an ongoing narcotics investigation…
