YOUNGSVILLE, La. (KLFY) — Retired Police Chief Earl Menard passed away yesterday at East Jefferson Hospital due to medical complications, Youngsville Police Department announced.

Chief Menard served as the Police Chief of Youngsville for 27 years. After retiring, Chief Menard continued to serve the city as a community liaison officer, dedicating his life to the betterment of Youngsville.
