Lafayette High School students start the year at new campus

LAFAYETTE, La. (KLFY) — Students at Lafayette High School returned to classes today on a brand new campus, greeted by LPSS Superintendent Francis Touchet, Jr.

The new Lafayette High School campus is a state-of-the-art facility, described by Superintendent Touchet as a three-story building that could fit two Costcos within its 330,000-square-foot space.

“This is for the students and more importantly I’m thankful to the taxpayers of Lafayette Parish for providing the dollars to do something like this,” Touchet stated…
