Ronnie Simon convicted of second-degree murder in Lafayette

LAFAYETTE, La. (KLFY) — Lafayette Parish jury has found Ronnie Simon guilty of second degree murder in the killing of April Rollins and attempted aggravated assault with a firearm of Rosa Ledet.

Simon faces mandatory sentence of life in prison at hard labor without the possibility of parole, probation or suspension of sentence for second degree murder conviction.
