Congress, Cameron, Johnston — Buses on Lafayette Transit System’s six bus lines currently run primarily along economic corridors, not residential areas. As a result, residents hoping to ride the bus currently have to figure out a way to get to stops along major roadways first.
Once at the stop, they wait — sometimes up to an hour — in the sun, the heat, the rain, most likely without any cover.
