Lafayette volunteers pack 17,000 meals to fight hunger

LAFAYETTE, La. (KLFY) — Volunteers in Lafayette packed 17,000 meals for local food pantries during a “Feed the Funnel” event organized by CGI in partnership with The Pack Shack.

The meals, aimed at addressing food insecurity, will be distributed to local food pantries, including Second Harvest Food Bank of Acadiana, the University of Louisiana at Lafayette`s Campus Cupboard, and South Louisiana Community College`s The Pantry.
