NEW IBERIA, La. (NEWS 15) — A young man has died four days after being the passenger in a car that rear-ended a stopped 18-wheeler, according to Louisiana State Police.
Troopers said Colbi Blanchard, 19, of Thibodaux, succumbed to his injuries on Saturday, August 30.
LSP reported Blanchard was a passenger in the front seat of a 2014 Ford Fusion that collided with a big rig that was stopped in the painted gore area between US 90 West and the off-ramp to LA 675 near New Iberia on Tuesday, August 26, just before 8 a.m…
