NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) – If you exit Interstate 10 in the city of Rayne, it’s hard to miss that frogs are a big deal in this southwest Louisiana town.
Frogs are everywhere in Rayne — on sidewalks, in front of stores, at the police station and firehouse, and even at the courthouse. About two dozen murals are also painted on buildings throughout the city.
