LAFAYETTE, La. – The driver of the motorcycle has been identified as Michael Leonard (W/M/40) of Lafayette.
The preliminary investigation indicates that vehicle 1 was traveling eastbound at the 200 block of Southpark Rd when, for reasons still under investigation, the driver lost control of the vehicle.
The vehicle veered off of the right side of the roadway and collided with a tree before coming to rest. The driver of vehicle 1 was pronounced deceased at the scene…
