CHURCH POINT, La. (KLFY) — The Church Point Police Department has announced the death of retired longtime Assistant Chief of Police Carl Thibodeaux.
Thibodeaux, also known as “Mr. Carl” was Assistant Chief of Police for the Church Point Police Department for 35 years.
Thibodeaux was also a patrolman for the police department for several years prior to becoming Assistant Chief of Police. He retired in 2019 after a long and successful career. Officials said he trained several of the younger officers be better police officers…
