SCOTT, La. (KMDL-FM) – The return of Cowboys Night Club is just a few weeks away, and now we know the music lineup for the re-opening weekend.
Re-Opening Weekend Music Lineup
The club’s new management has revealed the following lineup for October 16-18:
- Thursday, October 16 – Blaine Roy & Second Wind ($10 entry, but ladies get in free till 10:00 p.m.)
- Friday, October 17 – Mike Broussard & QuickDraw ($10 entry)
- Saturday, October 18 – Glen Templeton ($15 entry)

Cowboys Fall Rodeo Returns
The re-opening weekend coincides with the Cowboys Fall Rodeo taking place on October 17 and 18 at Cowboys Arena behind the Cowboys Night Club.
As you can see with the schedule that Cowboys will once again open on Thursday nights and it will return to Ladies Night, which was a long-running favorite among patrons in the club’s heyday.
A Quick Refresher on the Closure
Now, if you missed the last few months of news regarding Cowboys Night Club, here’s a bit of a refresher. Back in late-July, the owners that the establishment would be closing its doors after 45 years in business.
That closure didn’t last long, as in early September we learned that new management would be taking over and renovations would be made to the club. The most significant change will be a new positioning of the stage to the back of the building’s footprint.
What’s New Inside the Club
The “old stage” is being converted into a VIP seating area, while the railings surrounding the dance floor have been removed. Other improvements and upgrades to the club including a green room for musicians, new sound and lighting, and an extension of the back right bar…
