Four arrested following fight at Lafayette’s Northside High

LAFAYETTE, La. (KLFY) – Four students were arrested following a violent altercation at Northside High School in Lafayette on Wednesday.

The fight, which occurred in the boys’ restroom, involved multiple students, one of whom was armed with a pair of scissors. “We had a total of four arrests made,” said Lafayette Police spokesperson Robin Green.

18-year-old Jeremiah Clovis was arrested and charged with simple battery, resisting arrest, and battery of a police officer. Clovis was reportedly cut by the scissors held by a 15-year-old during the altercation.
