Broussard is moving on $9M expansion at St. Julien Park, including pickleball courts and more

City officials in Broussard are moving forward on an expansion of $9 million expansion of St. Julien Park to add pickleball courts and other amenities.

Broussard Mayor Ray Bourque, speaking with Jan Swift of the Discover Lafayette podcast, said the plans call for 16 courts that will be covered under a giant pavilion, an observation deck and a pro shop.It will also include a parking lot and a veterans memorial.
