EEOC sues Coca-Cola for alleged federal violation for firing disabled Lafayette worker

Coca-Cola Bottling Co. is being sued for allegedly not accommodating a Lafayette delivery driver who developed a disability and was fired.

The U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, on behalf of Michael Bradley, filed the federal lawsuit Sept. 29 in U.S. Eastern District Court, New Orleans, against Coca-Cola Bottling Company United, the third-largest bottler and distributor of Coca-Cola products in the United States which is headquartered in Birmingham, Alabama.
