Iberia parish officials and local veterans came together to celebrate for a ceremony this week to dedicate a prominent parish road in honor of our veterans.
The Veterans Memorial Building at New Iberia City Park was filled to the brim with the local veterans community celebrating the dedication of Admiral Doyle Drive, dubbing it “Veterans Memorial Drive.”
The dedication means that Admiral Doyle will still maintain its name, but signs have been posted to ensure that the road has a special significance to the veterans community in the parish…
