Here’s what we’re tracking for you and your neighbors across our viewing area. We in the weather team have been keeping a close eye on the developing weather pattern, and it looks like we’ll see our rain chances tick up a bit before things start to dry out.

As we head through Monday, we’re expecting a weak low-pressure system and a boundary to edge inland. This means we’ll see partly cloudy skies this morning that could give way to a few showers later in the day. We will continue to monitor where these showers might pop up, with the highest chances for seeing this rain looking to be along and east of I-49. Some areas could even see heavier rain, especially if winds “pile up” along the immediate coast, as moisture levels are running higher than normal for this time of year. Temperatures for today are forecast to be in the mid-80s.

Looking ahead to Tuesday, this system is expected to move off to our north. While we might see some lingering rain chances early on, we anticipate brighter skies developing by the afternoon, with fog possible in the early morning hours. Highs will creep up into the near 90-degree range…
