YOUNGSVILLE, La. (KLFY) — Youngsville Police Chief J.P. Broussard is the subject of a possible racial discrimination complaint to the Equal Opportunity Employment Commission.
According to documents obtained by KLFY, the complaint by the Professional Association of Law Enforcement Officers involves the promotion of a white officer ahead of two Black officers with higher seniority.
The complaint alleges that Officer Tim Cutone was promoted to the rank of sergeant and post of supervisor of the Criminal Investigations Unit instead of Sgt. Reginald Mosely and Sgt. Louvenia Landry.
