Mild and Dry Conditions Persist With Elevated Fire Risk

We’re looking at a continuation of mild and dry conditions for most of the upcoming week. As we move into tomorrow, Sunday, we’ll see sunny skies prevail with temperatures climbing slightly into the upper 80s, and winds will be light and variable.

With the very dry air mass that’s expected to keep our relative humidity low, especially during the afternoons, it means we have an elevated risk for grass and marsh fires through the upcoming weekend. Otherwise, for the next few days, we’re anticipating higher pressure to build, keeping temperatures generally warmer than usual, with highs likely in the 90s. Morning lows will be comfortable in the 60s. While we aren’t expecting any significant precipitation for the foreseeable future, there’s a slight chance that low-end rain chances could return by the end of next week, but we will continue to monitor the trends.
