A year ago, Acadiana Christian School’s volleyball team made history by capturing the ACEL state championship without a single senior on the roster. This fall, that same group is back and determined to prove their title run was no fluke.
Senior outside hitter Kennedi Broussard has been at the heart of it all. The Lady Lions are off to a blistering 12-3 start and have looked every bit like a team intent on returning to the top.
“I feel like we’ve definitely grown a lot, especially since last season,” Broussard said. “Last year we went undefeated, but this season has been a little more challenging because everyone’s grown, even the other teams. It’s helped us learn and improve even more.”…
